Opening lines are always the hardest
you have to get it right, not too short
yet not too long. Conservative, yet open to
questioning. Close a chapter and start an open one
like dew, melting, this is the easiest way to start
carrying the waters of yesterday, waiting on today's sunshine
to take effect and brush away the exhaustion
that leaves itself hailing the watch that stops
without reference.
